The appellations :

Three different Appellations d'Origine Controlees (AOC) labels exist in Alsace :

    - Alsace ;
    - Alsace Grand Cru ;
    - Crémant d'Alsace.

        The Louis FREYBURGER & Fils's Estate claims claims wines in all three categories, thanks to its traditional wines, its terroir wines and its Grand Cru Altenberg of Bergheim.
        
        Since 1982, we also produce the sparkling Cremant d'Alsace, following the Method Champenoise used for Champagnes. We offer the following Cremants : "Blancs de Blancs" Brut (white wine made from white grapes), "Blanc de Noirs" Brut (white wine made from black grapes), Riesling Brut and Rosé Brut.
        Furthermore, we are especially proud to present to you our famous late-harvest wines ("Vendanges Tardives" and "Selection de Grains Nobles"), made from our best vintages.
        Finally, our Estate offers you fruit spirits (cherry, quetsch, peach, pear, raspberry,...) and marc liquors (alcoohols made from the distillation of the marc, the residue obtained after pressing the grapes).
